Angel Studios has acquired worldwide distribution rights for “Sound of Freedom ” and we can't wait for the world to see it.

Written and directed by award-winning Alejandro Monteverde, “Sound of Freedom” made its theatrical debut on July 4, 2023.

“Sound of Freedom” is based on the true story of O.U.R. Founder Tim Ballard, a former US government agent that quits his job to rescue children from global sex traffickers. Jim Caviezel (“The Passion of the Christ”) stars as O.U.R. Founder and federal agent where he finds himself losing hope in the dark field of fighting crimes against children. However, Ballard quickly uncovers his life mission when he’s able to free a 7-year-old boy that was kidnapped. When the young boy asks Ballard to find his sister who was also kidnapped, Ballard decides to devote his life to rescuing children from sex slavery.

26 Seconds Short Doc – available to stream

Every 26 Seconds a Child is Trafficked Globally, the majority ending up in the sex trade. There are more slaves today than anytime in history.

“Film is my commitment to creating work that matters in our world, I wanted to film a documentary on global sex trafficking because it is a fast-growing and horrific industry that tragically affects every child and woman worldwide. We can either do something or nothing. I simply chose to do something with the resources and creative talent I possess and have access to as a professor in film.

As a filmmaker, my intention was to tell the story. It was not possible to tell the story of human trafficking unless I visited the countries and met the victims trapped in the sex trade face-to-face – the pimps and madams who sell them, and the johns who buy them – but the true heroes are the nonprofit organizations that rescue, restore, and reintegrate these innocent children.

Creating awareness is not enough but rather a call to action is ALL of our responsibility. It will not only take an army of heroes but also a village of ordinary people like you and me.”

THE WHISTLEBLOWER

A drama based on the story of Kathryn Bolkovac, a Nebraska police officer who was recruited by the United Nations for DynCorp International to work with the peacekeepers in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1999. While there, she discovered a Bosnian sex trafficking ring, serving and facilitated by DynCorp employees, with international peacekeepers looking the other way. Bolkovac was fired and forced out of the country after attempting to shut down the ring. She took the story to BBC News in the UK and won a wrongful dismissal lawsuit against DynCorp.

The film is gritty, hard-hitting and in places, horrific, when it portrays the lives of the trafficked women. Some parts of the film are difficult to watch, especially the squalid living conditions, forced kidnapping, routine beatings, and even murder.
